Jining City strengthens environmental protection technology support for key enterprises and construction projects in various regions, strictly implements various measures for air pollution prevention and control, and continuously improves environmental quality.

Shandong Dongyu Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. is a key enterprise for waste gas treatment in Jining High-tech Zone. Recently, the company installed an intelligent monitoring system for environmental protection electricity to timely grasp the operation status of environmental protection equipment.

The intelligent monitoring system for environmental protection electricity is installed by a third-party equipment operator, using sensing technology to collect equipment operating condition data in real-time, achieving 24-hour uninterrupted remote monitoring of the total electricity consumption of the enterprise, electricity consumption of production facilities, and electricity consumption of environmental protection treatment facilities.

Fan Wei also stated that the electricity monitoring and production facilities operate effectively in sync, ensuring that emissions meet standards during the production process.

Also located in the high-tech zone, Komatsu (Shandong) Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. invested more than 7 million yuan last year to upgrade its organic waste gas treatment equipment.

In response to the weak links in air pollution prevention and control, Jining High-tech Zone has carried out projects to improve volatile organic compound treatment and comprehensive management of the brick and tile industry, taking the lead in the city to complete the upgrade and acceptance of pollution control facilities for 18 key volatile organic compound treatment enterprises at the municipal level. The construction of the electricity monitoring system has been completed, with acceptance of the environmental protection electricity monitoring system for 75 enterprises. At the same time, video monitoring equipment installation for 19 key enterprises using diesel vehicles has been completed, and they are connected to the municipal environmental protection supervision platform.

Zhang Yuliang, the safety and environmental protection person in charge of the project department, stated that from contract constraints to on-site control measures, from leadership, management to team groups and operators, a solid environmental protection concept is firmly established, and environmental protection measures are strictly implemented to ensure that all environmental protection measures of the project are in place.

Zoucheng City strictly implements "dust-free construction," increases supervision and inspection efforts, and holds accountable units that fail to implement environmental protection measures. At the same time, it strengthens departmental coordination, promotes comprehensive management, and ensures continuous improvement of air environmental quality.

"We will increase the inspection efforts for construction sites across (Zoucheng) City, requiring construction parties to strictly implement the '8 100% requirements for dust control' and equip corresponding environmental protection facilities," said Yue Feng, head of the Atmospheric Department of the Jining Ecological Environment Bureau Zoucheng Branch, to reporters.
