1. System Description
As the demand for live fish in domestic and international markets continues to grow, live fish transportation has become an important link in the fish farming industry and the supply of market fish. The main methods include traditional closed transportation, waterless wet transportation, anesthetic-assisted transportation, and unit transportation. However, there are issues such as uneven dissolved oxygen in the transport box, lack of water purification systems, and low levels of automation, making it impossible to achieve high-density and long-duration transportation. The container live fish transportation system developed by our company consists of key components such as transport boxes, fish tanks, refrigeration, oxygenation, water quality purification, and online monitoring and automatic control systems. This system can effectively meet the water quality and dissolved oxygen requirements during long-term transportation of live fish, improving the survival rate of live fish during transport.
2. Processing Technology
The processing technology of the container live fish transportation system can be designed based on the density of marine and freshwater fish and the transported organisms. A freshwater container live fish transportation system requires five systems for normal operation: mechanical filtration system, sterilization and disinfection system, constant temperature system, biochemical filtration system, and online monitoring and automatic control system. A seawater container live fish transportation system requires six systems for normal operation: mechanical filtration system, protein separation system, sterilization and disinfection system, constant temperature system, biochemical filtration system, and online monitoring and automatic control system.
